Support Groups
The NEO Chapter of JDRF hold support group meetings on the third Saturday of every other month (Jan, Mar, May, July, Sept, and Nov).  These groups offer an opportunity for newly diagnosed and their families to talk with other families and medical professionals on a variety of issues that arise when living with type 1 diabetes.  These groups meet at the JDRF office from 9:30 to 11:30 AM.

Aultman Hospital Teen Support Group
A Teen Support Group has started at Aultman Hospital on the 3rd Thursday of every month from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Diabetes Education Center, Aultman Hospital Ground Level. This support group is open to any teen ages 12-17 with diabetes, with emphasis on type 1 diabetes.

Coffee Clutches
Several coffee clutches are held in Northeast Ohio. If you would like more information on these, please contact Rosie Mewhinney at 216-654-9320.

T1D Adult Social Hour
A social hour will be hosted by Mike Kubb on August 16th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The event will be held at Mavis Winkles on 5005 Rockside Road, Independence, OH 44131.
