Ride to Cure

Event Details

Join the FirstMerit Ride Team to support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Team FirstMerit will be led by FirstMerit’s own Kenneth A. Dorsett, Executive Vice President of Wealth Management Services. He is the Team Captain and has made a commitment to lead the team’s effort to raise dollars for diabetes research.

Team FirstMerit Riders will build camaraderie while riding together for a great cause. Riders will ride together in local community rides and be invited to participate in all team training rides. The first 25 riders will also receive a Team FirstMerit ride jersey!

Registration

Complete and return the Team FirstMerit Ride Commitment Form to JDRF. 

Register for a minimum of one of the following rides.

Event Description

The Team FirstMerit Ride Team will participate in local training rides as well as community rides to raise awareness and financial support for JDRF.

What is my financial commitment to join?

To become a Team FirstMerit member you need to make a minimum contribution of $25 to JDRF and register for at least one of one community ride listed above (registration
fees range from $20 - $35).

Team FirstMerit Rider Fundraising Goals

Cruiser - $25 - $49
Paceline - $50 - $99
Chaser - $100 - $499
Breakaway - $500 and above

National Ride Program Event Information

Riders from around the world take on two challenges: raising the money needed to fund research for better treatments and a cure for diabetes, and reaching a personal training goal to prepare for a destination cycling experience.
