Calling All Volunteers!

JDRF is a volunteer-driven organization that relies on the dedication of volunteers like you. There are many ways to get involved including:

Events

JDRF needs hundreds of volunteers to make the special events a success. From registering walkers at the Walk to Cure Diabetes, checking in guests at the Dream Gala, to selling raffle tickets at the Golf Classic, there is always something happening!

Committees

Volunteer committees plan all of our events. You can be a part of the Outreach Program, plan the Dream Gala, or coordinate an area of the Walk to Cure Diabetes. We have jobs that are big and small and can find something just right for you!

Government Relations Advocacy

In Kind Donations and Services

Let your business and expertise help JDRF! We are always hoping to cut down on our expenses and your donation of printing, design work, photography, or public relations can help us save money. Your company product or items for live and silent auctions at the Gala are always welcome!

Office Work

We often have special projects with mailings, phone calls and computer work. If you are available to be “on call” to help out with these projects, we will supply the coffee!

Internships

The Northeast Ohio Chapter of JDRF welcomes those who are interested in participating in an internship. The NEO chapter has worked with several students in the past, and offers internships in marketing & communications, as well as special event planning.
