Planned Giving

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRF) is deeply grateful to the generous individuals who have included a bequest to JDRF in their Wills. Gifts by Will, an important source of support for JDRF, enable people to make significant contributions that they may not have been able to make during their lifetimes.

Bequests to JDRF can take vaious forms. Making a provision in your Will for JDRF is a simple process. A charitable bequest can be included in your Will at its creation or added later by means of a codicil. In either casem you will need to consult an attorney.

Several types of bequests can be made:

• Outright bequests (can be pecuniary, specific, or residuary)
• Bequests in trusts
